I am an abstract artist based in Dallas, Texas. My work is inspired by my Christian faith and I love incorporating themes of optimism, love, and joy in my work. For years I was a person who dwelled on negativity and a pessimist. It wasn’t until I met my husband and he taught me that the words we speak and think can directly impact our life. This realization had a lasting impact on my life and made me want to change. Once I began thinking and speaking positivity, having faith, and putting my trust in God - my life changed. I found myself having more joy and happiness. My art is display of the lessons I’m learning about life and my faith. The optimistic meanings behind my work are not only who I want to be, but who I’m becoming. I want my paintings to uplift others and show them that they can be positive too.
